Upon completion of the workshop, each participant will perform their custom routine with their group and receive an AOS certification from Art of Stepping.

“We are pleased to support the Art of Stepping’s National Youth Step Tour as it carries on the spirit of Worldwide Day of Play year-round.,” said Jean Margaret Smith, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs and Administration. “We are excited to celebrate the work they are doing as it encourages kids to be active and adopt a healthy lifestyle.”

In September 2013, Art of Stepping partnered with Nickelodeon to celebrate the network’s 10th annual Worldwide Day of Play. As part of the week-long schedule of events leading up to the signature event in Brooklyn, New York’s Prospect Park, AOS coordinated activities in six states, providing free stepping workshops and classes to help promote wellness among children.

Art of Stepping, in 2011, partnered with former NBA star point-guard Chris Duhon’s Stand Tall Foundation to launch the Sneakers 2 Succeed (S2S) campaign. The campaign’s goal is to collect gently used and/or new sneakers to donate to various local charities. This year, AOS expanded the campaign by offering their award winning step program that teaches the art form via mathematical formulas for free.
